E.B. Aycock's chapter of the National Junior Beta Club inducted over 70 new members on Thursday, May 22nd at an Induction Ceremony. Keep up the great work and high academic standards, Jaguars!
Our Award Ceremonies will be held on June 10th at 9:00 for 7th grade, June 11th for 6th grade at 11:00 and June 12th for 8th grade at 9:00.

Mrs. Strickler's Social Studies class had nine 8th grade students selected from over 300 schools to present in the Student Showcase at the NCTIES conference. They presented a Revolutionary project of their choice to demonstrate learning. EBA had an amazing showing and received excellent feedback and ratings! Our entire school read Rules by Cynthia Lord during our One Book One School project. Thank you to all of our volunteers who helped with this project!!
Ms. Weiss' 7th grade language arts students were able to talk with a 4 - time Olympian, Charlie Olgetree, using Skype! This was the culminating activity to their unit on the Olympics.
Congratulations to our Battle of the Books team! We came in third place at our competition!!!
Ms. Barreto, our Spanish teacher, held our first Spanish Festival on April 17th from 1:30 until 3:30! It was a huge success and the students and staff had a great time learning about other cultures and countries!
The Staff won a very close game, 60-52, at our Annual Student/Staff basketball game on February 7th. A special thanks to all the students, parents, and members of the community who came out to support the students of EB Aycock!!!!
J. H. Rose's Jazz Band along with several students in our band entertained our staff and students with Christmas cheer December 20th!!!
The winners of the Spanish Spelling Bee were 1st place: Perry Garza; 2nd place: Joshua Stevens; 3rd place: Andre Hutchinson; 4th place: Zykerria Simmons.
EB Aycock's Beta Club helped our school collect over 330 toys for Operation Santa Clause, which is run by Greenville Fire & Rescue. All toys stay within Pitt County to help children in need! Thank you for your support!

Representative Brian Brown visited E. B. Aycock October 11th to discuss prevalent issues in state government. He led the students in a thought provoking activity that clarified students' knowledge of the legislative process.
